Grow Garden Camp

K5-5th Grades
Cost: $150
June 5-9
9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Gardening is the oldest practice in the world. It travels it’s way all the way back to Genesis 2 when the Bible tells us that God “planted a garden in Eden (delight)…and out of the ground the Lord God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight or to be desired for food.” This amazing passage shows us God’s intentionality to create for us a good home with good food!

God made us to be dependent on food. We all have to eat. So we should learn how to grow our own food in a fun and easy way. We have 5 days packed of learning the basics about plants, soil, chickens, compost, and bees. We’re going to get into the dirt and start planting delicious plants. We hope by the end of 5 days that students can come back home and continue what they’ve learned into your own backyard!
